Anxiety can be crippling. It viciously attacks your body and mind. If you’ve experienced the depths of it you can already imagine what I’m referring to.
The knot in your stomach holds you back from being able to get out of bed in the morning. You feel the loneliest and misunderstood you’ve ever felt, even while being surrounded by those close to you. It can make you feel entirely separate from your body to point of not even recognizing the person that you see in the mirror.
And, although the pain of anxiety is almost impossible to ignore, it isn’t impossible to heal.
It’s important that we put in the work necessary to heal from our trauma and allow our minds to live freely again.

I believe in you
I believe that you deserve to stay living
I believe that you have the strength to keep breathing even though breathing is the hardest thing when crippled with anxiety
But I promise you…
the pain you’re feeling right now is only temporary, even though I know it’s scary
& life for you right now feels pretty heavy
But listen to me, there are many people in your life that love & care about you as a human being who deserves tranquility
So keep trying & keep climbing
& keep fighting when it’s exhausting
Because you’ll never know the kind of beauty that lies on the other side of the mountain
…if you never try or begin the climb

based on how you survive them
& you haven’t made it this far in life
enduring all your pain & suffering
to give up now & make it all for nothing
So please just hold on…
One more day, one more hour, one more minute or whatever it takes
for you to understand that you deserve
to be living with your life worth having
& you’re worthy to be loved, including all your life’s damage
